Mrs. Mary Catherine Malone Whitfield, age 84, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2006. She was born on June 17, 1922 in Polk County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Steve Whitfield; parents, David P. Malone and Ruth Sloan Malone; sister, Lucille Price and brother, Curtis Malone.

Mrs. Whitfield is survived by her sister, Beatrice Malone Morgan; nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Barth, Jim Price, Lisa Morgan Ott, Steve Malone, Tim Malone and Hal Morgan, Jr.

The graveside service will be conducted on Monday, December 4th at 2:00p.m. at Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30p.m. until 2:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.
