Mrs. Mary Giles Tarbush, Age 85, of 617 Montgomery Ave., Cedartown, GA., passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005. She was born in Cave Spring, GA.
She was preceded in death by parents, James Pierson and Nancy Melissa Teat Giles; husband, Joseph E. Dean on December 2,1944, while serving his country in Germany during World War II; an only son, Charles W. Dean, on June 23,1978; husband, Clifford Tarbush on August 6,1978; sister, Ruth Evans; brother, William Giles; and granddaughter, Valerie Clark.
Surviving are brothers, Fred Giles of Cedartown, Edgar P. Giles of Hartwell, GA; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Giles Tarbush will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. DeWayne New, Rev. Hoyt Lewis, and Rev. Frank Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 17, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Freddie Giles, John Giles, Harley Giles, Ray Evans, Roy Evans, John Evans (Jay), Ken Rowell, and Phillip Price.
