Ms. Mary Christine Stewart of Cedartown passed away on Sept. 16, 2012. She was born Sept. 22, 1937 in Cullman, AL, the daughter of the late Martin Luther Wood and Sarah Dougherty Wood.

Ms. Stewart is preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Ms. Stewart is survived by daughters, Paulette Stewart Weaver, Sarah Leigh Camp (Robby), Wanda Caroline Taff (Hugh B.); five grandchildren, Robert Lamar Glover (Lisa), Brandi Leigh Gore, Trannie Thi Gore, Donovan Welchel, Graham Taff; great grandchild, Trent Glover.

The funeral service for Ms. Mary Christine Stewart will be conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 19th, at 12:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Interment will be in the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery,Faulkville, AL

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 18th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
