Obituary

Ms. Mary Anne Simpson Gray, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. She was born on October 4, 1932 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Katherine Lassiter Simpson.

Ms. Gray is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sandi Gray; grandchildren, Daniel Gray (Sarah), Anna Gray (Chet) and Mark Reeves (Amanda) and great-grandchildren, Taylor Cleland, Dawson Cleland, Andrew Gray, Kalli Cleland and Aidan Gonzalez.

Ms. Gray is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace Clarence Gray; son, Jessie Robert Gray; sisters, Betty Rose Gary and Tommie Lou Campbell and brother, Bob Simpson.

In keeping with Ms. Gray's wishes she was cremated. A memorial service for Ms. Gray will be conducted on Friday, October 16, 2015 at eleven o'clock in the morning at The First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Wayne Benefield and Rev. Jerry Mahan officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery with Dr. David Taylor officiating.

The family of Ms. Gray will receive family and friends on Friday, October 16, 2015 from ten o'clock in the morning until the memorial service hour at The First Baptist Church.

Flowers are being accepted; however, memorial donations can be made to The First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 101 North College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
