Ms. Mary Jo Roberts, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011. She was born on January 2, 1930 in Cedartown, to the late Mr. and Mrs. W.E. and Lovella Dyer Grimes.

Ms. Roberts was a retired postmaster for the US Postal Service.

Ms. Roberts is survived by daughter, Pam Holland; son, Paul Beck; sisters, Zelia Ann Woodward and Billie Sue Lott; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by special caregiver Robyn Watters.

Ms. Roberts is preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Lovella Dyer Grimes; husband, Bobby Joe Roberts and son-in-law, Dennis Holland.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Roberts will be conducted on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Trawick officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from six o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jeremy Holland, Shane Beck, Frank Lott, Steve Manning, Jordon McLendon, Jerry Palmer, Gary Temple and Dennis Palmer.
