Ms. Mary Jane Riebel Bergen, age 87 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015. She was born on June 27, 1928 in Arbela, MO. She was the daughter of the late Alva Clark and Lucille Pearl Stone Riebel.
Ms. Bergen is survived by her daughter and son-in-laws, Zella May Musick and Joey and Tim Rankins; sons and daughter-in-laws, Burdette Lavon Bergen and Mary Jane, Allen Joe Bergen and Brenda and Kevin Roy Bergen; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ms. Bergen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleo Lavon Bergen; daughter, Polly Jane Rankins; sister, Lurla Meinhardt and brothers, Roger Riebel, Jamie Riebel and Darrell Riebel.
The funeral arrangements for Ms. Mary Jane Riebel Bergen will be conducted on Friday, November 6, 2015 at eleven o'clock in the morning at The First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service hour. Mr. Ivan Ray will be in charge of the music. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Ms. Bergen will receive family and friends on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family is accepting flowers; however, memorial donations can be made to The First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 101 North College Street, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jonathan Bergen, Cody Rankins, Daniel Rankins, Kelly O'Rear, Fred Barasoain and Ryan Worthy.
