Mary Maxine Blake Nichols, age 79 of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015. She was born on January 10, 1936 here in Cedartown to the late Robert and Delia Blake.

Ms. Nichols is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Tessie) Nichols; daughter and son-in-law, Katie Nichols Hoover and Jerry Higginbotham; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Donna Nichols; sister, Shirley Blankenship; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Grace Blake, Rena Nichols, and Jo Nichols.

Ms. Nichols is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Nichols, Sr., son, Rick Allen Nichols, sisters Janie Jacobs, Audrey Lucille "Boots" Tudor, and Betty Weaver, brother Buck Blake, and her parents.

The funeral service for Ms. Nichols will be conducted on Monday, May 18, 2015 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Corey Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends and guests during the visitation hours from 6pm to 9pm on the evening of Sunday, May 17.
