Mrs. Mary Jo Morgan Hunter, age 80 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born on April 19, 1935 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Doyle Webb Morgan and Lucinda Mardell Hogan Morgan.

Mrs. Hunter is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Wells and Larry; son, Dennis Wayne Cobb; grandchildren, Jill Dingler (Jeff) and Jennifer Cobb and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hunter is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Gordon Hunter.

A graveside service for Mrs. Mary Jo Morgan Hunter will be conducted on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at three o'clock in the afternoon at Oaknoll Cemetery in Rome, Georgia, with Mr. Olin L. Gammage officiating.

The family of Mrs. Morgan will receive family and friends from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until two o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
