Ms. Mary Alice Backers Lyle, age 80 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. She was born on December 18, 1942 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Jim Backers and Etta Hulsey Cronan.

Ms. Lyle is survived by her daughters, Cindy Redding (Joe) and Rachelle Redding; sons, Kenneth Hulsey and Jerome Hulsey; niece, Angie Rudeseal; nephews, Stevie Carroll and Randy Carroll; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Mary Alice Backers Lyle will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Redding officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Lyle will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
