Mary Marlow Henderson, age 95, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was born on November 10, 1916 in Hyer, West Virginia to the late Ward & Annie Marlow.

She is survived by her daughters, Co Baskin (Dave), Lucy Scarborough (David), and Maggie Walls; grandchildren, Suzanne Price (Wayne), Emmy Baskin, Katie Klahn (Josh), Wesley Walls;great grandchild, Rachel Price along with one surviving brother Jack Marlow.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Gus Henderson; sisters, Macel Furby and Iris Furby; and brothers Frank and Marvin Marlow.

Mary worked for seven years as a telephone operator prior to the birth of her three daughters. She was an avid gardener. She loved to read and play bridge. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Henderson's body was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cedartown, Georgia with Dr. Bob Hoffmann officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and that contributions be made in honor of Mrs. Henderson to the First United Methodist Church of Cedartown.
