Mrs. Mary Faye Shiflett Grimes, age 80, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. She was born July 4, 1929 in Polk County, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by parents, Ollie W. Shiflett and Pauline Burnley Shiflett and brother, Larry Shiflett.

Mrs. Faye Grimes is survived by son, Dan Grimes of Sarasota, Florida and grandsons, Jacob Grimes and Brant Grimes; niece, Kathy Shiflett Carruth. Local survivor includes cousin, Peggy Cambron Rutledge.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 13th, at 12 noon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Entombment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13th, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Houston Rutledge, Joy Owens, David Easterwood, Ernest Huskins, Bob Sidowey, and Sam Reeves.
