Mrs. Mary Frances Corn, age 74, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was born in Cherokee County, AL on August 28, 1935.

Mrs. Corn is preceded in death by her parents, John Hubert Gibson and Eula Adell Lockridge Gibson; sister, Louise Liner; brother, Hubert Gibson; grandson, Tyler Corn; great-grandchildren, Taylor Gravley, Jonathan Willbanks, Justin Willbanks.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy Daniel Corn; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Stanley Ayers; son, Danny Corn; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Edward Short; and brother, Wayne Gibson. Mrs. Corn is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. John Short, Brad Short, Edward Short, Chad Grayley, Trevor Cross, and Sammy Green will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.
