Mary E. Smith, age 57 of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was born on January 10, 1957 in Rome, Georgia.   She was the daughter of the late Clyde Smith and Margaret King Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Priscilla Adams

Ms. Smith is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Blake Smith; three grandchildren, Pacey Smith, Harley Smith, and Bentley Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Noel & Barbara Smith and George & Mattie Smith; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Ms. Mary E. Smith will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 8:00 pm in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Edwards officiating.

The family of Ms. Smith will receive family and friends on Monday, April 14, 2014 for one hour prior to the memorial service from seven o'clock until eight o'clock at the Gammage Funeral Home.
