Ms. Mary Geraldine Cox May, age 78, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.  She was born on August 9, 1941 in Cedartown.  She was the daughter of the late Clifford Paul and Nettie Belle Lorrens Cox.

Ms. May is survived by her daughters, Pamella Mckee (Tony) and Sarita Blommel (Stuart); sons, Scott May (Teresa, best friend) and Gregg May (Patricia); sister, Evelyn Brown; brother, JD Cox; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ms. May is preceded in death by her parents; son, James Thomas May, Jr., and brothers, Bill Cox and Leon Cox.

In keeping with Ms. May's wishes she was cremated.  A private memorial service for Ms. Mary May will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations can be made to Cedar Valley Nursing Home, 225 S. Philpot Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
