Mrs. Mary B. Campbell, age 70, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010. She was born on December 29, 1939, in Cedartown, Georgia. She is the daughter Mr. Seals T. Glenn, Sr. (deceased) and Mrs. Jettie "Momma Dot" Knight Glenn.
Mary and her husband, Dewain, were married for 52 years, and have been the owners of D's Linens Service since 1973.
Mrs. Mary B. Campbell is survived by husband, Dewain Campbell; mother, Jettie Knight Glenn; daughters, Meka Benefield and husband John, and Kiki Evans and husband John; sons, Dennis Campbell and wife Kathie, and Larry Campbell and wife Susan; grandchildren, Kaili Harding, Haley McConkey, Dr. Kaysi Benefield, Carrly Campbell, Zuker Campbell, Hayden Evans, Payton Evans, Jenna Evans, Kristin Melvin and David Melvin; great-grandchildren, Adeline Harding, Eisleigh Harding, and Aubrey McConkey.
Mrs. Mary B. Campbell is preceded in death by father, Seals T. Glenn, Sr., infant daughter Mary Dawn Campbell; brothers, Seals T. "Pete" Glenn, Jr. and Richard Glenn; and niece, Pamela Glenn.
The funeral service for Mrs. Mary B. Campbell will be conducted on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating and speakers Kaili Harding, Haley McConkey, Dr. Kaysi Benefield and Carrly Campbell, Ann Davidson, Sandra Galloway, and Ricky Glenn.
Interment will follow in the Youngs Grove Church Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Mary B. Campbell will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 6-9pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
The family has respectfully requested that flowers be omitted; however, memorial contributions may be made to Heyman Hospice Care at Floyd, P.O. Box 163, Rome, Georgia 30162-0163 or First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 720, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
Pallbearers are Jon Glenn, Alan Glenn, Ricky Glenn, Joey Frith, Danny O'neal and JD "Booba" Jolly.
Honorary pallbearers are Ann Davidson, Sandra Galloway, Dot Stowe, and the employees of D's Linens Service.
