Mrs. Mary Ann Berry Nichter, formerly of Cedartown, passed away on April 17, 2010. She was born September 30, 1936.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Rhonda Lorren, one brother and sister-in law, Jack and Geneva Berry.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil O. Lorren; second husband, Benton Nichter; parents, Earl Mountain Berry and Sanders Witcher Berry; a son, Tony Lorren; brothers, Robert Berry, Walter "Bud" Berry, Charles Billy Berry, Larry Ray "Sonny" Berry; sister, Ruby Jo McCain.

In keeping with Mrs. Nichter's wishes, she was cremated. A private internment will be held on Friday, April 23 in Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

The Marshall Funeral Home in Rock Port, Texas is handling the arrangements.
