Mr. Marvin "Bob" Busby, age 74, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019.  He was born on July 21, 1945 in Rome, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Marvin R. Busby, Sr. and Pearl Inez Billingsley Busby.

Mr. Busby was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in Spain for several years.

Mr. Busby is survived by his brother, Mike Busby (Mary); step daughter; Cindy Nix Hamilton; daughter in law, Donna Murray Nix; step son, Perry "Shane" Nix; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Several extended family members also survive.

Mr. Busby is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra King Busby; and step son, William H. "Buddy" Nix.

In keeping with Mr. Busby's wishes he was cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
