Mr. Marty Ridgeway, age 55, of Dallas, Georgia passed away June 4, 2009. He was born March 6, 1954 in Anniston, Alabama.

Mr. Ridgeway was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by "A Haney" Trucking Company.

He is preceded in death by father, Marion S. Ridgeway; sister, Kay Raper; brother, Tony Ridgeway; grandchild, Kayla MacFarlane.

Mr. Marty Ridgeway is survived by son, Mark Ridgeway; daughters, Tracey Macdonald and husband, Matthew, Melanie Ridgeway, April Rogers; grandchildren, Kaitlin Ridgeway, Mark Ridgeway II, and Mari Cate Macdonald; mother and step-father, Virginia Dare Smith and Jimmy Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Dennis Cantrell; brother, Roger Ridgeway. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Marty Ridgeway will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Jason Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens. Bud Morgan, Tony Haney, Anthony Haney, Keith Carden, Jeff Wilbur, Anthony Gates, and Dale Bragg will serve as Pallbearers. The American Legion Post #86 Honor Guard will conduct military rites.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.
