Mrs. Martha Mullinax Youngblood, age 83, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was born May 17, 1926 in Cedartown to parents, Grady and Maude Atha Mullinax (both deceased). She is also preceded in death by husband, Herman Youngblood; sisters, Polly Reynolds and Carolyn Roberson; and brother, Preston Mullinax.
She was a beloved member of Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Youngblood is survived by daughters, Joy Johnson and Pam Woods; Sons, Bill Youngblood and Paul Youngblood; grandchildren, Amanda Lee, Russ Henderson and Chris Henderson; six great-grandchildren.
The funeral for Mrs. Martha Youngblood will be conducted on Friday, February 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebecca Holmes officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. The pallbearers are Russ Henderson, Chris Henderson, Gene Henderson, Ricky Roberson, Scott Reynolds, Don Dishong, Gary Johnson, and Don Mullinax.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
