Mrs. Martha Jo Astin Mull, age 77, of the Yorkville Community, Polk/Paulding Counties, Georgia, formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at her residence. She was born May 7, 1930 in Polk County.

Mrs. Mull is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Robert Boyd and Mattie Lee Welchel Astin.

Surviving family members include her husband of sixty-one years, Mr. Luther Rosson "Junior" Mull; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Roy Preston Strickland; daughter, Geri Darlene Bonds; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Mull; sister, Matilda Allen of Tallahassee, Florida, and brothers, Billy Astin and James Astin. Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mrs. Martha Jo Astin Mull will be conducted on Saturday, September 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Partain officiating. The interment service will follow at Oakgrove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Keith Redden, Shane Redden, Eric Mull, Steve Strickland, Stuart Jones, Tracy Warren, and Scott Kennedy.
