Mrs. Martha Dean Astin, age 77 of Cedartown passed away Tuesday January 10, 2006. She was born on June 5, 1928 in Polk County.

She was preceded in death by parents Lincoln and Bessie Carter Watson, husband, Charles Astin; sisters, Mary Brown, Ruth Payne, Jeanette Watson, Judy Watters, Betty Jane Gable.

Surviving are daughters, Jane Morgan and Lane Davis; a son James Hogue; sisters, Patsy Cole and Maxie Lindsey; grandchildren Monica Willingham, Mandy Wilson, Gwen Sirmans, Case Davis, Ashley Davis, Cassidy Davis, Aislyn Hogue. Also surviving are four great grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mrs. Martha Astin will be conducted Friday, January 13th at 3:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Delton Harne officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The Family will receive friends Thursday, January 12th from 7:00PM until 9:00 PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Adam Willingham, Wayne Brown, Mark Watters, Kevin Watters, Kyle Watters and Matt Sirmans.
