Mrs. Marjorie Johnson Tomlinson age 83, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee.  She was the daughter of the late Russell Hubert Johnson and Laura Harwell Johnson.

Mrs. Tomlinson was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Cedartown, for over 35 years.

Mrs. Tomlinson is survived by her loving husband of 67 years; Vernon Ray Tomlinson, Jr.; son, Vernon Ray (Tank) Tomlinson, III (Tracy); sisters, Norma Carper (Dave), Carolyn Ingram and Wilmoth Forsyth; grandchildren, Terri Anna Tomlinson, Ashley Vance (Jason), Nicholas Tomlinson (Jennifer), Samuel Tomlinson and Kyle Tomlinson; great-grandchildren, Alexander Tomlinson, Rio Tomlinson and Jesper Tomlinson.

Mrs. Tomlinson is preceded in death by her parents; son, Howard Marshall Tomlinson; sister, Rosemary Johnson and brother, Russell Johnson.

A graveside service for Mrs. Tomlinson will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the family lot of Northview Cemetery with Dr. Chris Moses officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Nicholas Tomlinson, Samuel Tomlison, Kyle Tomlinson, Alexander Tomlinson, Jason Vance, and Chris Robinson.  Honorary pallbearer will be Jesper Tomlinson.
