Mrs. Marjorie Alice Cantrell Knight, age 78, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011. She was born on September 20, 1932 in Conyers, Georgia; she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William D. and Alice Casey Cantrell.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Robert Knight; son, William David Knight; sister, Polly Peek; two grandchildren, Billy Knight and Nathan Knight and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Knight and Kylie Knight.

Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; one sister; children, Michael Knight and Barbara Seamster and one granddaughter, Angela Seamster.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Knight will be conducted on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Douglasville, Georgia.

The family of Mrs. Knight will be receiving family and friends on Friday, June 17, 2011 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
