Mr. Marion Milton Jarrett, age 62, of Cedartown passed away Friday, August 11, 2006. He was born on August 20, 1943 in Rome, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Carolyn Ann Jarrett, his father Mr. Johnny Andrew "Red" Jarrett, his sisters Doris Elizabeth Jarrett and Martha Ann Daniel, and grand daughter Britney Jarrett.

He is survived by his mother Mrs. Doris W. Jarrett, daughter and son-in-laws Penny Jarrett Hammond & Dwayne and Angel & Scott Henderson, his son and daughter-in-law Tracy & Kim Jarrett along with grandchildren Connie & Kayla Minter, Scott & Anthony Jarrett, and Daniel Henderson as well as his great grandchildren Sandy Timms & Mason Minter. Also surviving are his sister and brother-in-law Carolyn Jean & James Timms and his brother and sister-in-law Johnny & Gloria Jarrett. Several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday August 13th at the family residence at 1200 Rockmart Highway in Cedartown Georgia.

The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. Jerome Smith & Rev. John Redding officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery. Mr. Jarrett will lie in state from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church.

Pallbearers are James White, Rodney Williams, Kenneth Timms, Junior Timms, Eddie Hood, and Arthur White. The Honorary Pallbearers are Wally Sutton, Todd Coggins, Danny Timms, and Michael Timms.
