Mrs. Marie B. Packer, age 78, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. She was born on November 15, 1934 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late George William and Carrie Bell Harris Burnham.

Mrs. Packer is survived by her husband, Elbert H. Packer, Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Lunsford and Kevin and Catherine Couch and Raymond; son and daughter-in-law, Harold Packer and Theresa; sisters, Martha Nichols, Mary Denton and Mildred Evans; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Packer will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Packer will receive family and friends on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Daniel Lunsford, Michael Packer, John Packer, Eron Smart, Raymond Couch and Kevin Lunsford.
