Mrs. Marie Josephine Scagnelli Harner, age 95, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born on June 23, 1926 in Buffalo, New York.  She was the daughter of the late Louis and Permina Gamorina Scagnelli.

Mrs. Harner is survived by her daughter, Carol Harner; son, Ray Harner; grandchildren, James Harner, Rhonda Messer, and Missy Harner Duignan; and great-grandchildren,  James Thomas Harner, Patrick Harner-Reid, Lucas Harner, Kane Chandler, Charlie Duignan, Lincoln Duignan, and Rowan Duignan.

Mrs. Harner is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Merlin Ray Harner.

The funeral service for Mrs. Marie Josephine Scagnelli Harner will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Chris Moses officiating. Interment will follow later in the week in Daytona, Florida at Daytona Memorial Park.
