Ms. Margie Wright Wilcox, age 90, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was born on August 25, 1921 in Whitesburg, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wade Hamilton and Katherine Adams Wright.

Ms. Wilcox is survived by daughter; Sharon Katherine Wilcox Thompson; sons, Charles Emerson Wilcox, William Joseph Murphy and Walter James Wilcox, Jr. "Jimmy"; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ms. Wilcox is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter James Wilcox, Sr.

The funeral service for Ms. Wilcox will be conducted on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chip Daniell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Wilcox will receive family and friends on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
