Mrs. Margie A. Rowell Heard, age 99 of Cedartown, passed away on September 4, 2016. She was born on March 22, 1917 in Buchanan, Georgia.

Mrs. Heard is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Nancy Tanner Rowell; husband, Henry C. Heard; sisters, Annie Mae Butler, Mozelle Cammons and Myrtle Rowell and brothers, Albert Walker, Winford Rowell and W.R. Rowell.

Mrs. Heard is survived by niece, Brenda Rowell Hunt; nephews, Fred Rowell (Patti), Ken Rowell (Diane), Bill Rowell (Patti) and Don Smith.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Margie A. Rowell Heard will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Pine Bower Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Rowell and Rev. Roger Kiser officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Heard will receive family and friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 12 o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Pine Bower Baptist Church.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brendan Hunt, Patrick Rowell, Anthony Rowell, Keelin Brumbelow, Phillip Price, Chad Jackson, Mitchell Rowell and Drake Benefield.
