Ms. Margie N. Privett, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015. She was born on October 14, 1932 in Haralson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Marlin Hancock and Viola Teems Duflo.

Ms. Privett is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Gail and Charles Jones, Kim Harrison, Patsy and Clyde Ballew, Vickie Goldin, Jan Howell and Teresa and William Abernathy; son, Tommy Forrister; sister, Inez Tienken; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Privett is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Privett; daughter, Kay Marie Bridges; brother, Richard Hancock and daughter-in-law, Fran Forrister.

A visitation for Ms. Margie N. Privett will be on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home. In keeping with Ms. Privett's wishes she will be cremated after the visitation.
