Mrs. Margaret Jo Moncrief Howard, age 73, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. She was born on December 31, 1938 in Borden Springs, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wes and Bessie Mae Brazier Moncrief.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Charles Howard; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Keith Richards; son, Mike Howard; sister, Thelma Barker and grandson, Cody Richards.

Mrs. Howard is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John Moncrief and Junior Moncrief.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Howard will be conducted on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy English and Rev. Anthony Osborne officiating.

Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Garden Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Howard will receive family and friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family is accepting flowers; however, memorial donations can be made to Lindsey Chapel Methodist Church, 156 Lindsey Chapel Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Buddy Benefield, Glenn Vinson, Mark Wallace, Billy Russell, Larry Mosley and Larry Bentley.
