Mrs. Margaret Barbre Jolly, 84, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. She was born on May 25, 1938, in Albany, Georgia to the late James C. and Sarah Barbre. She was one of eleven children.

Mrs. Jolly moved to Cedartown in 1969, to help her brothers Jim, Bill and Ben Barbre run Prior Station Farm. It was not long after this that she met and married the late John David "Boober" Jolly. They were married for 45 years. Margaret spent her career working at various local community banks, including C&S and First National. After retirement, she worked at Croker's Hardware and volunteered frequently at the Samaritan House.

Margaret and Boober were longtime members at Anna Kresge United Methodist Church of Cedartown. She was a faithful member of UMW Pathfinders and loved the ladies she served alongside.

Mrs. Jolly is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Sandra Wilson Shelley of Cedartown, along with several of her siblings.

Surviving is her son, Michael Dean Wilson; grandchildren, Megan Morris Respert (Jason) and John Robert Speight;  great grandsons, Carter, Isaiah and Noah; sisters, Judy Wilson, Ginny Collins, and Frankye Lemay; brother, Richard Barbre; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home at eleven o'clock in the morning.  The family of Mrs. Jolly will received family and friends from ten o'clock in the morning until the memorial service hour at the funeral home.
