Mrs. Margaret Kerns Hill, age 76 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday May 20, 2007. She was born on August 30, 1930.

Mrs. Hill was a member of First Baptist Church in Cedartown. She was employed with the First United Methodist Church where she served faithfully for many years as the church Secretary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Hill Jr., her parents, Mr. Hoyt Kerns and Mrs. Pauline Tracy Kerns, and her sister, Mr. Joyce Kerns Couey.

Mrs. Margaret Kerns Hill is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Jim Chittom of Rome Ga., grandson Trey Chittom, Brother-in-law Thomas Couey, nieces Julie Stansell and Tracy Duman, several other nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. David Taylor, Rev. Wayne Benefield, and Dr. Bob Hoffmann officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 22nd from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
