Ms. Maragem Lowry Richardson, age 83 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015. She was born on July 26, 1931 in Oneonta, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Elton and Beulah Lowry.

Ms. Richardson served her community for many years as a nurse working at Polk General Hospital. She was also a long time member of Pine Bower Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, D.L. Richardson and son, Wayne Richardson.

Ms. Richardson is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Brenda Joyce Richardson, Lynda Deese, Jackie Mosley (Tim) and Patti Dunagan (Bruce); sons and daughter-in-laws, Donald Richardson and Randy Richardson (Debra); sister, Starla (Billy) Lowry; seven grandchildren, Chad Garner, Jamie Mosley, Colby Deese, Erica Brown, Kelley Richardson, Jeremy Richardson and Allissia Deese and six great grandchildren, Adrianna Deese, Trenton Garner, Trista Garner, Ellie Mosley, Tye Davis and M. J. Brown.

The funeral service for Ms. Richardson will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Kiser officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Richardson will receive family and friends on Monday, June 8, 2015 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbeares:Chad Garner, Colby Deese, Jamie Mosley, Jeremy Richardson, Trenton Garner, and Tye Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be MJ Brown and Kelley Richardson.
