Mrs. Maidie W. McCain, age 88, of Cedartown passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007. She was born on September 13, 1918 in Polk County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George F. "Little Red" McCain; parents, Starling Monroe Williams and Belle Baldwin Williams; sisters, Malline Williams, Inez Barrett and Dot Lankford and brothers, F.A. "Buck" Williams and Charles E. "Buddy" Williams.

Mrs. McCain is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28th from 6:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home. The memorial service for Mrs. McCain will follow at 7:00p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The family respectfully request flowers be omited and memorial contributions made to Heyman Hospice; P.O. Box 163; Rome, Georgia 30162-0163.
