Mrs. Lyna Howell Collins, age 90, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010. She was born August 24, 1919 in Cleburne County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Robert Crawford Howell and Addie Tanner Howell (both deceased). Mrs. Collins was a beloved member of the Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is also preceded in death by sister, Lucille Pruitt and brothers, Lee Howell and Harold Howell.

Mrs. Lyna Collins is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Eloise Collins Parham and Gene; son and daughter-in-law Claud Collins and Audrey. Grandchildren, Mendie Collins Long (Randy) and Rhonda Collins Russell (Jimmy), great-grandchildren, Ben Russell, Cooper Long, Colby Long, and a number of step-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lyna Collins will be conducted on Sunday, February 21st, at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Rebecca Holmes and Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating.

Interment will be in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, February 20th, from 6:00 - 8:00.
