Ms. Lucille McDowell Phillips, age 78 , of Pace, Florida, formally of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. She was born on December 21, 1933, in Cedartown, GA. She was the daughter of the late Samuel McDowell and Connie Mae Guice McDowell.

Ms. Phillips is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Phillips Ochoa and Arnold; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Phillips and Pat; sister; Betty Thompson; brothers, Sam McDowell, John McDowell and Gary McDowell; grandchildren, Jeremy Ochoa and wife Lauren, Allison Boggs and husband Greg and Brandon Phillips and great-grandchildren, Joshua Boggs and Edward Boggs.

Ms. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin Bruce Phillips; sister, Gail McDowell Nantz and brothers, Ellis McDowell and Robert McDowell.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Lucille McDowell Phillips will be conducted on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Smith and Dr. David Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Phillips will receive family and friends on Friday, February 24, 2012 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Bill McDowell, Brandon Phillips, Jeremy Ochoa, Ronnie Jones, Mike Jones and Jeffery Jones.
