Obituary

Ms. Lucille Edna Millican Hitchcock, age 90, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012. She was born on November 5, 1920 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ernest Millican and Mary Melson Graham Millican.

Ms. Hitchcock is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Farmer Dawson and Joan Farmer Smith; son, Roy Denny Farmer; sister, Bernice Millican; 26 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Ms. Hitchcock is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Edward Farmer; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Chandler and Kathy Lynn Short; sons, Ronnie Joe Farmer and Ronald Van Hitchcock and brothers, CB Seals Millican and Earl Millican.

The funeral service for Ms. Hitchcock will be conducted on Monday, March 5, 2012 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Meeker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Hitchcock will receive family and friends on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Kenneth Dawson, Tony Dawson, Brian Farmer, Jonathan Farmer, Michael Farmer, Labron Jenkins, Jimmy Williams, and Little Tony Dawson.
