Mrs. Lucille Bedford Ashmore, age 94 of Cedartown passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was born on September 7, 1922 in Scottsdale, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Esmond and Maybelle Blaylock Bedford.

Mrs. Ashmore is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Baldwin (Charles); son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Ashmore (Beverly); brother, Ferman Bedford (Jeannie); grandchildren, Denise Stiles (Mike), Greg Ashmore, Brent Ashmore, and Ryan Ashmore (Leah); 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.

Mrs. Ashmore is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ashmore; parents; and brother, Claude Bedford.

The graveside services for Mrs. Lucille Bedford Ashmore will be conducted on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at one o'clock in the afternoon, at Polk Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The family of Mrs. Lucille Bedford Ashmore will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from twelve noon until 1 o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Greg Ashmore, Ryan Ashmore, Garrett Ashmore, Matthew Runyon, Ethan Stiles, and Evan Stiles. Brent Ashmore will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family respectfully requests that floral arrangements be omitted and donations be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund at P.O. Box 720 Cedartown, GA, 30125.
