Mrs. Lois Lula Garrett Presley, age 72 of Powder Springs, Georgia formerly of Rockmart, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013.

Mrs. Presley was born on August 4, 1940 in Rockmart, daughter of the late Sidney Griffin Garrett, III and the late Lulu Jane Underwood Garrett. She retired from the dry cleaning business and was a member of the Christ Freedom Church of Hiram. Mrs. Presley was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walter (Buddy) Presley, Jr. on July 16, 2000; and four brothers, Rev. Lawrence Garrett, Mr. Elmer Garrett, Mr. Tony Garrett and Mr. Jim Garrett.

Survivors include a daughter, Colette Presley Lang of Kennesaw; two sons, Walter "Darrell" Presley of Cedartown and Gregory "Greg" Everett Presley of Powder Springs; two sisters, Audrey Seabrook of Marietta and Margie "Darb" Seabrook of Georgia; nine grandchildren, Sumer, Nicole, Jordan, Walt, Tyler, Cherisse, Carissa, Jeremy and Leah; and ten great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Shylee, Makayla, Kenslee, Andruw, Tristan, Hannah, Laynee Ann, Devon and Nevaeh.

Funeral services for Mrs. Presley will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Burgress officiating. A eulogy will be given by Mr. Randy Lang. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the Polk Memory Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Dean Presley, Ricky Presley, Tyler Presley, Walt Presley, Jr., Tommy Presley and Bill Akins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, July 12th between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
