Mrs. Linda A. Woods Meyer, age 70 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She was born on December 7, 1943 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Nobel Eugene Woods and Myrtle Ann Clements Woods.

Mrs. Meyer is survived by her husband, Wayne Wilkes; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and LeAnne Porterfield; brother, Lamar Woods; grandchildren,  Shannon Taylor, Brandon McAlister, Gary Wilkes, Jonathon Wilkes and Lily Porterfield and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Meyer will be conducted on Friday, March 21, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. DeWayne New and Rev. Brian Crisp officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Meyer will receive family and friends on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Darrell Presley, Danny Bailey, Larry Dooley, Darrell Forrister and Johnny Worthy.
