Mrs. Linda Elise Odom Richards, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1940.  She was the daughter of the late Terry Colquitt Odom and Sarah Elise Lane Odom Bentley.

Mrs. Richards was a long time member of Lindsey Chapel Methodist Church.

Mrs. Richards is survived by her daughter-in-law, Michelle Howard Richards; grandson, Cody Keith Richards; sister-in-laws, Charlene Odom, Peggy Odom, and Brenda Welchel (Jimmy); and brother-in-law, Joe Brock.

Mrs. Richards is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Fredrick Richards; son, James Keith Richards; brothers, Rudy Odom and Lewis Odom;  sister, Judy Brock; and sister-in-law Billie Faye Whatley.

The funeral service for Mrs. Linda Odom Richards will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Sharon White and Mr. Jimmy Welchel officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Juan "John" Segura, Kevin Moore, Mike Howard, Perry Hulsey, Doug Odom, and Jimmy Welchel.  Honorary pallbearers will be Anslee Bradshaw, Kristen Phillips, and Diane Peugh.

The family of Mrs. Richards will receive family and friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted; however, donations can be made to Lindsey Chapel Methodist Church; St. Jude; and/or The American Cancer Society.
