Mrs. Lilly Jean Irwin Robinson, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011. She was born April 27, 1927 in Rockmart, Georgia, the daughter of George Russell Irwin and Cynthia McDowell Irwin (both deceased).

Mrs. Robinson is survived by husband, Fred C. Robinson; daughters, Jennifer R. Wilson, Dinah R. Brock, and Cynthia R. Parker; four grand children, two step grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

In keeping with her personal wishes, Mrs. Robinson was cremated. The memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3rd, 2011 in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. A private interment for family members will follow.

The family will receive friends on Monday January 3, 2011 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Flowers are to be omitted and any donations can be made to the Cedartown First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 101 North College Street, Cedartown, Georgia, 30125; United Hospice of Rome, 35 Three Rivers Dr. N.E., Rome, Georgia, 30161; or to the charity of your choice in memory of Lilly Jean Robinson.

The Mary Brewster Sunday School Class are honorary pallbearers.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mrs. Lilly Jean Irwin Robinson.
