Mrs. Lillian Mae Gladden Brock, age 72, of Cedartown, GA passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 27, 2008.

Mrs. Brock was born July 15, 1935 in Haralson County to the late Clifford Eslie and Elsie Mae Gable McCray. She was a former employee of Sewell Manufacturing Company and a retired employee of the Engineered Fabrics Corporation. Mrs. Brock was a member of New Canaan Church.

Survivors include one brother, D. L. McCray of Cedartown; sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and George Garner of Buchanan; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and David East of Cedartown; one sister-in-law, Joyce S. McCray of Cedartown; step-son, Jeff Brock of Rockmart; step-son, Tim Brock and wife Anna of Tuscaloosa, AL; Three step-grandchildren, Justin Brock, Alison Brock, and Ty Brock; special friend, Jim "Pappy" Phillips of Whitesburg; Twelve nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her son, Michael Keith Gladden; her first husband, Luther "Junior" Gladden, Jr.; her second husband, W. Thomas Brock; a sister, Joyce B. McCray; and a brother, Douglas A. McCray

The family will be receiving friends on March 28th, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29th, 2008 at the East View Baptist Church in Cedartown with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Elder Gerald Sloman officiating. Music will be provided by Evelyn Haskins. The Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Vines officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jeff McCray, Scott McCray, Todd McCray, Greg Garner, Brad East, and Brian McCray.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Hurley, David McKinzey, Cole McCray, Matt Garner, Bryce East, Brett East, Chase Walker, Tristan Walker, Justin Brock, Ty Brock, and Brylan McCray.
