Mrs. Lillian Ruth Adams Cooper, age 87, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019.  She was born on July 28, 1931, in Gadsden, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late Joe Adams and Rosa Lee Freeman Tillison.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her son, Joe William Jenkins; daughter, Sue Ann Luther; grandchildren, Charles Shelton Luther (Cora), Kevin Luther, and Teresa Lynn Babington (Jesse); and great-grandchildren, Yazmin Marie Luther, Charles Jacob Luther, Alice Camille Luther, Charlee Babington and Griffin Babington.

Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace Cooper; and son, Terry Lewis Jenkins.

In keeping with Mrs. Cooper's wishes, she was cremated.  A graveside memorial service for Mrs. Lillian Ruth Adams Cooper will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Northview Cemetery with Rev. Doug Simmons officiating.
