Ms. Lillian McCain Brown, age 89, of Shepherd, Texas, formerly of Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Shepherd. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Bolt McCain. Ms. Brown is also preceded in death by daughters, Pat Edmonson and Faye Dickey; sisters and brothers, Ruth Roberson, Jewell Behun, Mae Middlebrooks, Collie McCain, Thomas McCain, Omie McCain, Ada McCain, and Otis McCain.

Ms. Lillian Brown is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Ray Miller and Barbara and Clif Wood. She is also survived by grandchildren, Layne Sanders, Richard Wood, Alan Dickey, Bobby Tatum, Bill Tatum, Stacy Melton, Tiffany Hurt, and Bridgett Brown; sixteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Ms. Lillian Brown will be conducted on Sunday, November 14, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Richard Wood, Clayton McCain, Tommy McCain, Tony Dawson, Wendell Gurley, and Dewey Rutledge.
