Mr. Lewis Brantley "Abe" Drummond, Jr., age 58, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007. He was born November 2, 1948 to parents Lewis Brantley Drummond, Sr. and Rody Lee Highfield Drummond.

Mr. Drummond is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sylvia Ledbetter and Betsy Drummond.

Mr. Lewis Brantley "Abe" Drummond, Jr. is survived by his wife Gail Dunaway Drummond; daughter and son-in-law, Selina Drummond Wilmot and Gerard Wilmot; son, Lewis Brantley "Tray" Drummond III; stepson and daughter-in-law, John Casteel and Susette Casteel; sister, Mary Doris Sherbert, sister and brother-in-law, Ruby Neil Edwards and Bobby Edwards; brother, Bud Green, brothers and sisters-in-law, David Green and Evelyn Green and James Green and Beverly Green; grandchildren, Lewis Brantley Drummond IV, Christopher Drummond, Jonathan Drummond, Lyta Williams, Steven Williams, Issabelle Huskins, Ian Wilmot, Triston Casteel, Heather Casteel and Matt Casteel; great grandchild, Lonnie Williams.

The funeral service for Mr. Lewis Brantley "Abe" Drummond, Jr. will be conducted on Wednesday, May 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Drummond will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Officiating are Dr. Robert Wright, Dr. Benny Lindsey, Rev. Gene Beck and Rev. Charles Williams.

Interment will follow in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 22, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Tommy Mathis, Chan McDonald, Steve Griffin, Eddie Terry, Joe Richardson and Gerald Green. Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Deaton, Leroy Hutchins, Doug Weaver, Tommy Sherbert, Tim Edwards, Bobby Edwards, Dee Green and J. C. Richardson and Tony Richardson.

The family is receiving flowers however memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 433 Shiloh Rd., Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
