Ms. Leona Rae Smith, age 32 of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017. She was born on August 16, 1985.

Ms. Smith is survived by her mother, Fandrick Jane Jolly Smith; siblings and their spouses, Andrea Jane Smith Marangakis (John Marangakis, Sr.), Melanie Lisa Smith Hopkins, George Thurston Smith, Jr. (Cindy Smith), Toy Michelle Smith Bell (Brad Bell), Danielle Hope Smith Underwood, Elena Wynn Smith Cubillo (Gerardo Hernandez Cubillo), Jason Micah Smith, Sr., Maya Jael Smith, and Joshua Paul Smith (Mary Roberts Smith); fiancé, Dustin James Watson; 10 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and great nephews.

Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her father, George Thurston Smith, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Melvyn Hopkins and Dean Underwood and niece, Leirein Jael Hayes.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Leona Rae Smith will be conducted on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Phillip Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Smith will receive family and friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Michael Underwood, Thurston Cubillo, Jason Micah Smith, Jr., Joshua Hayes, Sr., Joshua Hayes, Jr., Gerardo Cubillo, George Marangakis, Jr. and John Marangakis, Jr.
