Mr. Leo Paul Hamrick, age 70, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.  He was born on August 26, 1949 in Polk County.  He was the son of the late William Martin and Betty Bell Hulsey Hamrick.

Mr. Hamrick retired from Hon with 35 years of service. He was a member and deacon at The Church of God of the Union Assembly of Cedartown. He w as a member of Caledonia Lodge 121, The Cedar Valley Shrine Club and Yaarab Shrine.

Mr. Hamrick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy Land Hamrick; children, Glenn and Joni Hamrick, Bill and Stephanie Hamrick and Barry Hamrick; grandchildren, Lundy Peace, Stuart and Misty Hamrick, Jenna and Dylan Little, Cody Smith, Tyler Hamrick, Beth Taylor, Makenna Hamrick, Trey Redden, Cole Parham, and Jacob Hamrick; great-grandchildren, Aschylnn Edwards, Shiley Hamrick, Miely Hamrick, Lynlee Little, and baby boy Little due in August; brothers, Robert Hamrick (Pat)and  James Hamrick (Mary ); sister, Jeanette Winslett (Buddy); extended family, Kristy Willis, Ethan Overstreet, Wyatt Willis, and many more family and friends.

Mr. Hamrick is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Will and Minnie Hulsey and Jesse and Laura Hamrick.

In accordance with local, state and federal guidelines a private graveside service will be held for his immediate family.

The family has respectfully requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to the either The Church of God of the Union Assembly Building Fund, 1595 Bethlehem Road, Rockmart, GA 30153 or The Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
