Mr. Larry J. Smith, Age 58 of Cedartown passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2005. He was born on July 1, 1947 in Polk County.

Mr. Smith was a member of East View Baptist Church in Cedartown and retired from General Electric after 32 years.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Mrs. Diann Robinson Smith to whom he was married 38 years; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. Jason Smith and Mrs. Debbie Smith of Rome; and Mr. Scott Smith and Mrs. Lynn Smith of Kennesaw; 2 Grandsons, Nick Smith of Cedartown and Christopher Smith of Kennesaw. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. Monroe Smith and Mrs. Jewell Powers Smith of Cedartown; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. Aaron Smith and Mrs. Cathy Smith of Cedartown; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Donna Mullen and Mr. Jim Mullen of Cedartown; and Mrs. Tammy Odom and Mr. Timmy Odom of Cedartown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. Ralph Robinson and Mrs. Frances Robinson of Lennon, Michigan and a number of nieces and nephews.

The graveside service for Mr. Larry J. Smith will be conducted at Northview Cemetery on Thursday, October 27th at 3:00PM with the Rev. Reginald Campbell officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 26th from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Jason Smith, Jeremy Mullen, Jim Mullen, Timmy Odom, Mike Robinson, Anthony Robinson and Dallas Rose. Honorary Pallbearers are Nick Smith and Christopher Smith.
