Mr. Larry Julian "Butch" Gosdin, age 68 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was born in Wedowee, Alabama. He was the son of the late Elvon Gosdin and Mary Duffie Cantrell.

Mr. Gosdin is survived by his daughter, Missy "Mery" Lieurance (Jimmy Langston); son; Larry J. Gosdin (Laura Corn); sisters, Judy Glebosky (Tony) and Edith Hale; brothers, Wesley Cantrell (Betty), Leon Cantrell (Rosie) and Paul Cantrell (Suzanne); sister-in-laws, Shirley Cantrell, Gertie Cantrell, Joann Cantrell and Connie Cantrell; grandchildren, Tyler Gosdin, Holly Gosdin, Austin Alred, Jay "CJ" Lieurance; Nakita L. Bullard (Brandon) and Jada Lieurance; great-grandchildren, Mason Lieurance and Makayla Lieurance; step-children, Heather Blackmon, Terressa Waldrop, Jeremay Adam and Joel Kelley and step-grandchildren, Alexis Moon, Wesley Moon, Slae Hand, Dustin Waldrop, Brandon Kelley, Allen Kelley, Nicole Adams, Shane Adams and Steven Adams.

Mr. Gosdin is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Paul Cantrell; brothers, Billy Cantrell, Horace Cantrell, Hurshell Cantrell, Harold Cantrell, and Chris Cantrell and grandparents, Vass and Cora Duffie and Velma Dewberry.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Larry Julian Gosdin will be conducted on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Trey Jones officiating.

The family of Mr. Gosdin will receive family and friends on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and donations can be made to Gammage Funeral Home, 106 N. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125 or to the family at P.O. Box 932, Cedartown, GA 30125.
